Belfast Zoo
Belfast Zoo is home to more than 1,200 animals and 140 species. A total of 28 giraffes have been born at the zoo since 1996, including the latest arrivals, Cotton, Sallagh and Moon, in 2007. Our latest arrival is Neja, who arrived from Altburg Zoo in Denmark in 2008. Other animals you may find in the giraffe and elephant enclosure include ostriches and Grant's zebras. You can also see our meerkats and cape porcupines near the entrance to the enclosure.

National Sealife Centre, Bray, Eire
Located on Bray's Seafront, County Wicklow, National SEA LIFE Bray is one of the country's largest all-weather Marine and Freshwater Zoos. It's collection of over 90 species of underwater animals is displayed in a range of exciting exhibits which include "Rivers of the World", "Lair of the Octopus", "Nemo's Kingdom", and "Tropical Shark Lagoon".
