Leighton Hall Food and Craft Fair 17th - 19th September 2010

The strongest and largest craft show circuit is returning to the picturesque lawns of Leighton Hall in September, for what promises to be a diverse event suitable for the whole family. The show has grown bigger and bigger each year and this year sees the addition of an extra day, so there's plenty of time for browsing, shopping and getting involved.
Now spread over 3 days, this Autumn event is dedicated to satisfying the desires of all you budding chefs and artists out there. The event is totally interactive so you can really get involved with beer, wine and cognac tasting as well as question and answer sessions at the cookery theatre demonstrations (all of which take place at regular intervals throughout the day).

Welcome to the Liverpool Irish Festival – the eighth annual Festival celebrating the links between Liverpool and Ireland. The 2010 Festival boasts a truly stellar line up of artists and events – from The Irish Sea Sessions at the Philharmonic Hall to the ‘Irish Shorts’ nights, curated by the Cork Film Festival, at Picturehouse at FACT; from Damien Dempsey and Amsterdam at the Stanley Theatre to Colin Dunne at the Contemporary Urban Centre; from The London Lasses and Pete Quinn at The Palm House to Patrick McCabe speaking at the University. As ever, the events include the music sessions, heritage walks and talks, St. Michael’s Ceili and the brilliant pub gigs that go on throughout the Festival fortnight!
