International Quilt Festival of Ireland 7th - 10th June 2012. There will be a Quilter’s Market where you can buy everything from Irish crafts to traditional Irish Brown Bread, the Fat Quarters Chocolate Shop, a School House for our hands-on quilting classes, a Quilter's Canteen that seats over 800 people, over a dozen special quilt exhibits on display in various buildings throughout the village, and the Town Hall, where you will find over 50 vendors who have created booths to tease you with their latest state-of-the-art products and services!

This experience entitles you to do two of the following four outdoor activities: Horse Riding, perfect for the novice, the intermediary and experienced rider; Archery, compete in challenging competitions between you and the other guests; Clay Pigeon Shooting, complete your country-living experience shooting with XXX shotguns; or 4x4 Off Road Driving, drive over and through a purpose-built off road course putting a land rover through its paces with manoeuvres you can only day dream about.
Outdoor Activity Choice For Two - Co. Louth
High Ropes and Zip Wire, Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Challenge Course, Hill Walking, Orienteering, Archery, Windsurfing, Canoeing, Sailing a Lazer, or Kayaking. You will both take part in the same activity. Each session involves a safety briefing and tuition from your qualified instructor and the action takes place at a dedicated outdoor adventure centre set in a small town perfectly located right by the sea.
Deep Sea Fishing
Deep sea fishing can be a very calming activity, until that big one comes along! With expert skippers, who have come from several generations of fishermen, you'll become the expert deep sea fisherman. Their boats may be well equipped with navigational aids and fish radars but they are no match against the knowledge of your skipper. They will share with you their vast fishing knowledge of the area as for them, fishing is as instinctive as breathing. The ocean waters are deep and clean, offering a huge variety of sport fish. As many as 22 species are commonly caught, including Blue Shark, Cod, Garfish and Tuna. In the comfort of a specially designed angling boat, you will either be fishing over the many reefs or venturing further offshore, in search of the catch of the day!
Dublin Zoo
There's a world of animals and a heap of surprises waiting for you at Dublin Zoo. Come in and spot giraffe and zebra on the Plains of Africa and catch a glimpse of our growing herd of Asian elephants in the Rainforest - and don't worry you can go all round the world and still be home in time for tea. There are tigers, hippos, bats, lions, rare monkeys, gorillas, orangutans, chimpanzees and red pandas to name but a few of the amazing animals you'll find waiting for you around every corner.
Archery
Archery is the practice of using a bow to shoot arrows. It has historically been used in hunting and combat and has become a precision sport. Archery is an activity that can be enjoyed by all and takes place outdoors or indoors depending on the selected location. This experience will start with a safety briefing given by one of the instructors. Your tuition given will be on the use of the bow and arrow and aiming. To ensure each individual gets maximum enjoyment the instructors will always be on hand to help.
Giants Causeway
The famous and unusual rock formations are of basalt, small polygonal stacks resulting from a volcanic eruption 60 million years ago and which now present a stunning panorama. This beautiful stretch of coastline has attracted visitors for centuries and harbours a wealth of local and natural history, which can be enjoyed from the cliff-paths. The Armada treasure ship Girona was wrecked in 1588 at nearby Port-na-Spaniagh
