RNLI Whitby Welly Walk - Saturday 21 April 2012 The RNLI Welly Walk is designed to appeal to a wide audience of supporters, and will take place on Saturday 21 April 2012. This challenging 21 mile walk from Scarborough to Whitby takes in Yorks' stunning coastline. It will cost £20.00 to enter and all walkers will receive an RNLI Tshirt. All participants will also be asked to raise a minimum of £42 per individual or family group, which equates to the cost of a price of yellow wellies for one of our crew members. RNLI Whitby Cycle - Saturday 21 April 2012 The RNLI Cycle is designed to appeal to a wide audience of supporters, and will take place on Saturday 21 April 2012. We have planned 2 distances to suit all tastes; 20 miles and 40 miles. Both routes take in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. It will cost £16.00 to enter the 20 mile route and £18.00 to enter the 40 mile route. Entries include a free RNLI Tshirt to cycle in and all participants will also be asked to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship. All profits from the shows are returned to the charity and used to promote gardening and horticulture in the North of England.
Malton Food Lovers Festival 19 -20 May 2012. The Festival aims to showcase the very best produce from the surrounding countryside with 100 varied producers offering visitors the chance to taste and buy the best that Yorkshire has to offer. As well as the producers, two separate theatres hosted a series of cookery demonstrations by award-winning cooks including Celebrity Chef Rosemary Shrager and famous food writer Tom Parker Bowles.
Beverley Festival 15th - 17th June 2012 We are very pleased to announce that Ian McMillan & Luke Carver Goss will be performing at Beverley 2012. Flipchart & Squeezebox is the creative partnership of Barnsley poet, broadcaster & comedian Ian McMillan and composer & accordionist Luke Carver Goss. Join the youngsters and get a fresh look at what the music scene has to offer. The musicians will also be leading workshops over the weekend and will be appearing in a special Area 2 Showcase performance on the main stage.
