Bekonscot Model Village
Bekonscot is different from other model villages; this is an entire miniature kingdom stuck firmly in an idyllic 1930s timewarp. There are six little villages in a 1½ acre miniature landscape of farms and fields, castles and churches, woods, lakes and rolling hills. Walking around, you'll tower over the tiny population enjoying the fun of the fair, beaches, zoo and tramway, or lazily watching the cricket on the village green.
Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo promises a hassle free, adventurous family day out. Go underwater and explore the secret world under the sea as Chessington opens a brand new SEA LIFE Centre housing over 20 marine life displays with species ranging from tiny shrimps and starfish to magnificent sharks and stingrays! Chislehurst Caves are a labyrinth of dark mysterious passageways which have been hewn by hand from the chalk, deep beneath Chislehurst. There are over 20 miles of caverns and passageways, dug over a period of 8000 years. The vast complex of caves are a maze of ancient mines originally carved out in the search for flint and chalk. They are divided into three main sections, Saxon, Druid and Roman.
The centrepiece at Hollycombe is a complete, working, Edwardian Steam Fairground with everything from gentle rides for the children to some of the earliest "white knuckle" rides. The atmosphere is completed with period fairground organs. Hollycombe is the largest Traditional Steam Heritage Fairground in Britain. Queues are rare, with visitors normally not waiting longer than the next ride !
Located next to the sandy beach and marina at Littlehampton. Rides & attractions include the Caterpillar Coaster, Adventure Golf, Water Chute and Indoor soft play area.
