There’s amazing marine life to see at the biggest aquarium in Wales! Will you enter the Seven Sisters Shipwreck, or dare to walk the Shark Pool grids? With over 150 native species, from the familiar to the strange, there's something for everyone! In the No Bone Zone face to face incredible invertebrates like the cunning Octopus and even Peacocks and slugs from under the sea. And remember to keep an eye out for our baby beasts like little sharks, tiny lobsters, and even toddling seahorses!
The National Wetland Centre near Llanelli in Wales is a 450 acre mosaic of lakes, scrapes, pools, streams and lagoons adjoining the salt marshes and shore of the scenic Burry Inlet. The range of habitats makes the site a refuge for many different plants and animals – from year-round members of the centre’s world wildfowl collection to seasonal flocks of wild birds numbering up to 50,000 strong.
